Press Statement: ANOTHER PLOT TO MALIGN SENATOR ABE UNCOVERED

The attention of the Media Committee of Senator Magnus Ngei Abe campaign organization has been drawn to a mischievous and childish publication in Scan news, an on-line publication, entitled: “Reason Why Magnus Abe Visited Port Harcourt Barracks of the Nigerian Army”. The content of the story had a say-nothing lead, which smacks unprofessionalism. There is no doubt that the piece is a propaganda stunt by Gov. Nyesom Wike and the Rivers State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to perfect their rigging plan and to deter law enforcement agents from doing their work with regard to ensuring adequate security during  the December 10 legislative re-run elections. Let it be stated unequivocally, clearly and succinctly that Senator Magnus Abe never visited 2nd Amphibious Brigade, Bori camp, Port Harcourt, on Friday November 11, 2016 and that he was on that day at Bera community in Gokana Local Government Area, holding meetings with stakeholders and party faithful.
