THE POWER OF *I AM SORRY.*

*I am sorry,* a short but mighty sentence! If you wish to live long, don’t joke with this short sentence, *I am sorry.* Do you know how many people who had gone to early graves because they neglected the therapeutic power of *I am sorry.* Single sorry can stop a war, and prevents millions of men, women including children from dying! Most of the troubles in most homes are heightened because wives are too big to say *I am sorry* to their husbands and you can trust the ego of husbands in saying same to their wives. Quarrel lingers between friends because no party wants to say *I am sorry.* each says or asks, why should I be the first to say *I am sorry?* He or she would beat his or her chest and utter the ego-phrase, *a whole me!* Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the part of the world where saying *I am sorry* is a hard nut to crack while curses are easily unleashed.

NO APC CONGRESS HELD IN RIVERS – ABE …Urges Nigerians to help less privileged in society

A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, has declared that there were no congresses of the party in the state. This is as the senator called on Nigerians, to always remember that no matter how difficult things may seem there is always something we can do to make it a little easier for those in greater need, especially the sick and less privileged. Abe, who spoke at a brief get-together to mark his 53rd birthday at his liaison office, Freedom House in Port Harcourt, said Dr. Davies Ibiamu Ikanya remains the Chairman of the APC in the state as there were no congresses at all levels. While urging his supporters to remain calm, the senator advised party faithful to exercise caution on social media and stop insulting leaders and officers of the party.

Agriculture is a crucial economic activity, providing employment and livelihoods for many and serving as the basis for many industries. In most African countries, agriculture supports the survival and well-being of up to 70 percent of the population. Thus, for many, their livelihoods are directly affected by environmental changes, both sudden and gradual, which impact on agricultural productivity. Livestock and environmental goods offer some security from such shocks. About 70 percent of the rural poor in Africa own livestock, contributing significantly to household and community resilience to disasters, particularly in arid and semi-arid zones. More than 200 million people rely on their livestock for income (sales of milk, meat, skins) and drought power. Overall, livestock contributes about 30 percent of the gross value of agricultural production in Africa. According to the International Livestock Research Center (ILRI), opportunities exist to commercialize livestock production to target regional deficits in livestock products where they can be produced competitively.

Stakeholders and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, have felicitated with a governorship aspirant of the party, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, on his 53rd birthday celebration. The APC stakeholders and supporters, in a statement issued in Port Harcourt by the immediate past Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Worgu Boms, described Abe as a man of unwavering integrity. The statement said Abe, who is the senator representing Rivers South-East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has always demonstrated capacity and charismatic leadership qualities at every point in his political career which endeared the people to him.

My Disagreement with Amaechi Is Political – ABE

A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, has declared that his disagreement with leader of the party in the state and Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is political. Abe, in a statement issued in Port Harcourt by his spokesperson, Parry Saroh Benson, said Amaechi has publicly declared that he will not support his governorship aspirations. The senator said, “I am amused by some of these allegations and stories making the rounds. For the records, the disagreement between me and the Minister (Amaechi) is political. He is the leader of the party but he has said publicly on several occasions that he can never support me. “That means the entire country knows that he cannot pretend to be neutral or an unbiased umpire in any matter in which my interest and the interests of those interested in me are concerned. Yet, as the leader it is his responsibility to provide a level playing field for us all.”

The waiters thought these were unusual amounts of food but what the heck, if they were this hungry. Surprises awaited them. Moments later, maybe to impress the white man, the men took just a few nibbles from their plates, shoved the food away and motioned the waiter for their bill. “You have to finish the food, Sirs,” the bewildered waiter politely told them. “No, we’re okay, no problem,” they answered, laughing. “But you have to eat the food, you cannot throw this amount of food away” insisted the restaurateur. The two men looked each other in the face, muttering, in Warri accent, “Shooooow?”
